A. GATE End-of-the-Year Survey

i. Earn 5 points for completing our survey! There will be a separate post on Facebook with the link, and it can also be found on our website.

ii. It will take about 15-20 minutes and it’ll be due May 30. All the feedback will be taken into consideration to shape the plan for next year with GATE.

B. UCI Alpha Phi Omega National Youth Service Day College Workshop

i. There are 2 workshops this Saturday (April 24):

a) Workshop 1 (11 AM-12 PM): How to Select Universities and College Majors; Gives Insight on Being a College Student at UCI

b) Workshop 2 (2 PM-3 PM): Transition from High School to College & College Life; Give Advice and Answer Questions

ii. You will get 3 points for attending this workshop. Fill out this Google form if you are interested and send proof by screenshotting the workshop you attended:

C. Academic April

i. This is just like Makeup May where you can do any project from any month and submit it. Remember that monthly projects are a part of medallion requirements!

ii. This will be due April 30 @ 11:59 PM, but seniors can turn it in by May 1 for points. You can earn up to 8 points for submission (5 points for submission; 0-3 for effort/creativity), with a cap of 20 points max.

D. GATE x Eco x CSF: April Upcycling Projects

i. April Theme: Create something garden-related.

ii. This will be due on April 30 @ 11:59 PM. You can get up to 3 points per submission with 9 points max. There will be more information on our website.

E. This is the last reminder of the year for seniors to get their medallion requirements in. Get your monthly projects and points!

i. May 1 is the last day for points and projects. This is also the last day for everyone else to earn points for plaques as it will be the day where we will determine the plaque recipients.

ii. You can find all available point opportunities on our website and check our cumulative points sheet to see your medallion progress.

F. GATE Cabinet Elections 2021

i. All cabinet nominees will present their speeches in this order. Katherine will release the link to the ballot in the chat, which will count as the attendance form as well.
