Welcome to Rosemead GATE's new webpage! This site is updated as often as it can be and we hope it becomes a valuable resource during your time as a member of this amazing club.

 

Formerly known as Gifted and Talented Education -- now Going Academically to Extremes!

 

As our name implies, GATE is an educational club that encourages our members to go above and beyond their academic abilities. We accomplish this with monthly projects and participation in fun, relevant activities!

    1. Update on Hammer Museum 🖼️

      1. April 16th. Bus leaves at 8:45AM and will return back around 3:15PM. More information to follow up!

      2. 30-spot field trip; permission slips will be distributed during our next fundraiser! Emails will be sent out tonight for the first 20 members who secured their spots. Waitlist may be subject to change based on available interest → GATE Field Trip Sign-Ups 2024 (Responses)

    2. USC Festival of Books Sign-ups 📚

      1. April 20th, 9:00AM - 2:00 PM.

      2. Exhibition in USC with free admission with bus transportation in collaboration with Mr. Day’s Pre-AP English class!

      1. Apparel choices are here! Fill out the form if you are interested in purchasing apparel and to choose what apparel GATE will have this year!

    4. March Millenium ☄️

      1. Last-themed monthly project! Due by March 31st @ 11:59PM and you will be awarded 8-10 points for each topic.

      2. Next Month will be Academic April, where members are allowed to complete any of the projects from previous months. 

  5. Fun Fact: A group of penguins in the water is called a raft, but on land they’re called a waddle! 🐧
