ii. Our next game day will be in January because this is our only meeting for this month.

A. New Monthly Project Theme: Diseases December

C. GATE Holiday Bingo

i. This is a great way to earn points! The deadline will be on January 5, at 11:59 PM. There will be a separate post regarding more information on the bingo tasks later.

ii. We will have two bingo card editions, a GATE bingo card and a holiday bingo card. Each card will have a variety of small tasks to complete with its own separate point system.

iii. GATE Bingo Card: General Tasks

a) Point System for GATE Edition Bingo:

(1) One Row = 1 Point

(2) Two Rows (9-10 Boxes) = 3 Points

(3) Three Rows (14-15 Boxes) = 6 Points

(4) Entire Bingo Sheet (25 Boxes) = 10 Points

iv. Holiday Bingo Card: Holiday/Christmas Themed

a) Point System for Holiday Edition Bingo:

(1) Two Rows (9-10 Boxes) = 1 Point

(2) Entire Bingo Sheet (25 Boxes) = 3 Points

D. Freerice

i. Deadline: December 31 at 11:59 PM

ii. Freerice is a website where you answer questions. For every question correct, Freerice will donate 5 grains of rice to a charity.

iii. Point System: 3 points for 5,000 grains of rice donated, 6 points for 10,000 grains of rice donated

a) 3 additional points for top 3 members with the most Freerice points

b) 4th and 5th place for most grains will get 1 additional point

iv. Club Challenge: if we can get to 1,000,000 grains total, all participants with at least 15,000 grains of rice will get 4 extra points

v. need to join Freerice group to have your grains counted for points

F. Reminder for Monthly Project Requirements for Medallions

i. 2021 ONLY: Complete 2+ projects by the end of their senior year.

ii. 2022 ONLY: Complete 3+ projects by the end of their senior year.

iii. 2023 & Beyond: Complete 4+ projects by the end of their senior year.
